I have a 1984 75hp merecry outboard that will not idle or throttle up. It ran great last year, I took it out tonight and it ran for 10 minutes before starting to lose power and shut down. It will start throttle applied, but will not longer idle down or run in gear. I need it looked at and running by Wednesday 5/1/2013 to start vacation. I need someone who can take on the job ASAP. it sounds like a filter, plugs or carb, but i am not the expert. Can anyone work me in to their shop Staurday or Monday morning?
